Terms and Conditions

ShopYA (https://shopya.com.ar) is a marketplace for small entrepreneurs in Argentina. It lets sellers create a shop and list products, and lets buyers search for and buy them. ShopYA is an intermediary platform: the sale is made between the buyer and the seller of each shop. By using the site you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

To buy or sell you must register with truthful and up-to-date information, be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to contract. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.

You are solely responsible for the products, descriptions, images, prices and posts that you upload or publish through ShopYA, including those distributed on social networks. You represent that you have the right to use that content, that it is truthful and that it does not infringe third-party rights or the law. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display and technically adapt (for example, resize images) that content solely to provide the service.

If you wish, you can link your Facebook account to publish your products to your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts. When you do, ShopYA acts on your behalf only with the permissions you grant and only to publish the products you create or share in ShopYA (manually or through the optional auto-publish). You can revoke those permissions at any time, by unlinking the account from the dashboard or by removing ShopYA in your Facebook settings (see Data deletion).

Your use of Facebook and Instagram is also governed by Meta's own terms and policies, which you must comply with. You are responsible for the content published to your accounts and for being authorized to manage them. ShopYA does not control Meta's decisions (for example, moderation or the availability of its services). The data we process in this integration is described in the Privacy Policy.

You may not use ShopYA to:

• Offer illegal, counterfeit or dangerous products or services, or products whose sale is prohibited.
• Publish false or misleading information, or infringe intellectual property or third-party rights.
• Gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data, or interfere with the operation of the service.
• Use abusive automated means (mass scraping, bots) or bypass security measures.
• Harass, defraud or harm other users.
• Violate the terms of Meta or other integrated providers.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

ShopYA is provided "as is" and we will make reasonable efforts to keep it available, but we do not guarantee that it will operate without interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the quality, legality or delivery of products offered by sellers, for user content, or for failures of third-party services (such as Mercado Pago, carriers, Facebook or Instagram).

You may stop using ShopYA and request the deletion of your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or cancel an account that violates these terms or the law. Termination does not affect pending obligations, such as orders in progress.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of the Argentine Republic, without prejudice to the rights of consumers under applicable law.

We may modify these terms. We will publish the current version on this page with its last-updated date. If you keep using ShopYA after a change, you are deemed to accept it; if the change is significant, we will notify you by reasonable means.
